Day 5: Where The Wild Things Were
A lazy morning as we were going on another adventure today to the plot and today was the first day without the painkiller, so I wanted to see how Albie was behaving as the morning went on. Nothing unusual as we went through the usual ritual of patio, food and brushing, although I did notice Albie possesses a bladder and retention beyond his small size - it's a marvel to see the mini-flood that appears as he nonchalantly stands gazing somewhere off into the distance.
The only strange thing was when I came to get ready putting on my jacket and shoes, Arlie in his harness I left to wander around the kitchen whilst I got my keys.
When I looked around he had disappeared and I had to search for him, to find him downstairs in the back of cage! Seemed a sad thing to do and I wonder if he had developed the habit previously, no reason to be doing it now, for sure he doesn't yet leap up and down excited at the suggestion of going out.Today at the plot the resident Mr Fox was silently padding around his estate and eyeing us, or perhaps just Albie up, who in turn seemed curious but content to be held aloft by his personal bodyguards.
Despite the lurking presence, a perfect day to hang out in new surroundings, sights and smells and be outdoors soaking up the sun and Jane's tea.Spotted lots of nettles waiting to be collected at a future visit by those who want them, just need gloves and a big bag.
