On a roll now waking Jnr up early so the routine is done in time for parkrun, today on Clapham Common. Time for a walk and the unmentionables before putting Bob back in the basement cage. I'm gone for 45 minutes, Joe doesn't seem to mind and just relaxes and lets me run and pop down for the messages. Today's forecast is sunny hot day so it's going to be a mix of patio, pen, sofa and perhaps walks for both of us. A post-run coffee and nap for me with George unconscious on the sofa too. Patio time lets me watch Lowndes's tail wafting in the warm wind whilst he naps, I can sit out in the sun enjoying a very quiet Easter Weekend thinking about the Resurrection, The Church of England and Hotel Rwanda. Round the night off for some Netflix & Chill with Piers watching the true story of Bhagat Singh as he crashes out. Living the High Life high off the hog.
It's been a day of two halves starting with, naturally, the first half. It began with an email yesterday for a show (I had ticketed) titled "We can't wait to see you at The Cycle Show 2022 !" reminding me I had a Sunday ticket with timed entry. I wondered if I would get in with Albie in arm and decided not to go given the distance, then changed my mind to schlep up to Alexandra Palace with Jnr as it was such a nice day and I'm a bit cabin fevered by now. It took a while, but it got us out of the house, Albie out of his seclusion, to arrive at the top of a steep hill to find Alexandra Palace , it's huge! We paced around its dozens of doors and entrances looking for the damn Cycle Show in the hot sun. In the end I asked two cyclist where the show was, neither knew, so I gave up in disgust, but in taking a picture of Albie I noticed the show is on next Sunday 🤷🏻♂️ Going up on the tube I took some water and a bowl this time, when got a hot bus back to Finsbur...
